Yes, if you capture castles and towns while leading an army, raid villages, attack caravans or townsfolk, the owner clan/merchant will dislike you. And no, increase relations by letting lords go after battle or donating the captured lords to a "contratual friendly" lord/clan by giving them over directly on the campaign map or placing them in a
Press L for clan window. Click the parties tab. Click the create new party button. Well, that sucks dude, you're supposed to go straight from merc to actual vassal after you hit renown 150 by asking your Faction leader. You have to eat those penalties or start fresh it sounds like.So the mercenary pay works off of influence. Someone posted a more in depth guide, but you can get paid more by donating prisoners (any, bandits, looters, soldiers or lords) to a castle or town. It doesnβt go by region or anything like that. You can also gain influence by donating troops to a garrison.
Tia. You used to be able to assign specific units to specific groups, but they removed it. (They're working on bringing it back, though). go back to 1.6.5. The best thing I have found out now is to make a new control group for infantry in your case. and prioritise the weapon type of the mercenaries (aka shield, polearm).Gtzws.
