Yeah SB have crazy burst every 40s or so on a single target, makes them really good small scale/roamer. Unless sniping the enemy Tag, downing one person in a 50 man blob is not much of a loss.
Hopefully this is as close to gryphon flying in GW2 as it looks it is. If yes, it won't be true flight - which is totally fine, but i do hope we get infinite flight at some point. Gliding is easy, just follow these steps! Have the Glider Basics unlocked or completed the Old Friends story instance. Stand near a ledge or something you can jump off. Press the spacebar to jump off the ledge and press it again to open your glider. The yellow bar on your screen indicates how long you can still glide.
To clarify both griffon and skyscale(the 2 flying mounts there are 6 other mounts) require you own Path of Fire. Griffon requires you finish the pof story if I remember correctly. Skyscale also requires you own the corresponding living world season. All mounts move differently. The griffon is more of a traditional airplane, always moving forward.
