Press or tap “Windows key + X”, click on "Control Panel." Navigate to "Mouse," under "Hardware and sound". 2. Select the "Touchpad" tab in the "Mouse" window.
My 2 cents. I was facing the issue on elementary OS 6.1 (based on Ubuntu 20.04), and the problem seemed to be related to ignore while typing option getting apparently stuck. Toggling this option from System Settings > Mouse & Touchpad > Device > Touchpad > Ignore While typing got it working back on.

Manually uninstall and reinstall the Touchpad driver. In the search box on the taskbar, type Device Manager, and then select Device Manager from the list of results. Find and go to Mice and other pointing devices. Locate your Lenovo touchpad device, right-click on it and then select Update driver software.

Hello! Recently, my HP Windows 10 laptop's touchpad scroll feature doesn't work anymore. I tried looking in Control Panel, but everything seemed to be fine there. I also tried using the Scroll lock button in the on-screen keyboard, but that didn't work either. I can still move my cursor, I just can't scroll. I think I accidentally hit a keybind

To start this process, go to start -> type “device manager” ->enter. In the Device Manager window, go to Mice and other pointing devices option. Select “Synaptic Pointing Device” -> right-click -> properties. Select the “Driver” tab and “Roll Back Drivers.”. Once done, restart the laptop and check. fGfG.
